4. Sculpture Workshop - My Dream room
The workshop includes 15-25 sessions; each lasts two academic hours (an hour and a half).
The workshop is designed for children from fourth grade and above.
The number of students in the workshop varies from 8-12.
We will create the room of our dream, and learn how architects think and work to shape the space we are live in.
At first we will imagine how the room will look, then we will prepare a list of all the things we want to put up in the room.
We will learn to create an architectural plan in the form of construction drawings, we will put the furniture and all the things we want to have in the room
After having the program of our idea, we will build the rooms as models from different materials: boxes, paper, cardboard, tape, net and wires with other materials.
In addition we also deal with relations between the works and their environment.
During the workshop we will view the works of old and contemporary artists, architects and talk about them.
The workshop will be followed by an exhibition and a presentation that will describe the development of the process.
